Heartland Feeds is a full service feed company located 10 miles north of Lafayette, in Brookston, Indiana. We operate out of Rosebud Ranch, and have been serving the Brookston area with feed for the last 14 years. We have had a select loyal customer base for many years and we are now expanding rapidly and increasing amount of products we carry. Heartland proudly carries Kent, Cargill Nutrena, Kalmbach (Tribute), Primo Feed, Sunglo, Lindner, and our own in-house horse feed. We are not biased to any species- and if you have a specific product you are looking for, we will tryour best to get it for you!

When I arrive at Rosebud Ranch (Heartland Feeds), where do I go and whom do I talk to?

If you’re a new customer, we encourage you to call ahead to confirm that we carry the product you need and that it’s in stock. On your first visit, we’ll establish you as a customer in our office before loading your items in the shipping and receiving area.

When you arrive, you’ll see our large horse barn, Rosebud Ranch. Park in front of the barn and follow the walkway on the front left side to our office. During weekdays (Monday–Friday), someone is usually available in the office. If not, you can call Caitlin at (765) 427-1439.

Once established, most customers arrange pickups directly with Caitlin, often utilizing contact-free options for convenience.

Do you only carry the feeds listed on your website?

No, we carry many more feeds than those listed on our website. We are partnered with brands like Kent, Lindner, Purina, Kalmbach (Tribute), Triple Crown, Nutrena, and Sunglo, all of which offer a wide variety of products. Contact us to inquire about specific feeds not listed on the site.

What if the product I want isn’t in stock?

Contact Caitlin to see if we can order the product. If it’s from a brand we carry, we’ll do our best to include it in our next shipment. If it’s from a brand we don’t currently stock, we’ll explore options based on your inquiry.

Are you open on weekends?

We’re open by appointment on weekends. While employees may be onsite caring for horses, the office might not be staffed. To ensure service, please call ahead to arrange your weekend pickup.

How can I take advantage of your delivery option?

We offer delivery to various locations, including West Lafayette, Goshen, Lebanon, West Point, and Lafayette. Contact us to check if delivery is available in your area or to discuss adding your location to our route.

What products are floor stocked?

Livestock feeds, including show feeds and supplements, are stocked seasonally. We communicate with customers to ensure we have their products in stock.
